Frequently Asked Questions

  • Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow treatment where fine, hair-like strokes are manually placed into the skin using a sterile blade and pigment. The goal is to create natural-looking brows that enhance your own shape and features.

  • Microblading is suitable for most people, but not for everyone. During a consultation we assess your skin type, medical background and expectations to ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for you. Very oily skin or certain medical conditions may affect the result.

  • Most clients describe the sensation as slight discomfort rather than pain. At Brauw Ibiza I work with a gentle, precise technique and take my time to ensure your comfort throughout the treatment. The feeling is often compared to light scratching and is generally very well tolerated without the use of numbing creams.

  • A full microblading treatment takes approximately 2 to 2,5 hours including consultation, brow mapping, color selection and the treatment itself.

  • Results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Regular touch-ups help maintain the shape and color.

  • Yes. When you book a new microblading treatment at Brauw Ibiza, a perfecting touch-up after 6 weeks is included. This session allows us to refine the shape, color and strokes once the skin has fully healed, ensuring the best possible long-term result.

  • Healing takes about 7–14 days. Brows will appear darker and slightly thicker at first and will gradually soften as the skin heals. Flaking is normal during the healing phase.

  • At Brauw Ibiza I specialize in soft, natural-looking brows. The shape and color are fully customized to suit your face, skin tone and personal preferences.

    • Do not wax, tint or use retinol near the brow area beforehand

    • Inform us of any medical conditions or medications

  • Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing and long-lasting results. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions after your treatment, including what to avoid during the healing period.

  • Yes, when performed by a trained and experienced artist. I work with sterile, single-use tools and high-quality pigments, following strict hygiene protocols.

  • You should avoid makeup on or around the eyebrow area for at least 7 days to prevent infection and allow proper healing.

  • Microblading is not recommended during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, please contact me in advance so I can advise you properly.
